Amused Musings On A Slightly Absurd World

Well I just got through watching the finale of The Real Houswives of Atlanta and must say that this show was probably the best one of the whole series.  The show took a significant detour from the pettiness and featured some interesting issues such as DeShawn dealing with her husband’s imminent retirement from the NBA and whether she was in the frame of mind to downsize (she apparently got rid of one of her cars, but not her chef).  Also, Lisa talked  about her husband being signed to the Oakland Raiders and how that would impact her marriage and not being able to see her husband all the time.  Project Runway’s Michael Knight also stopped by to set Sheree straight on about how to launch her clothing line.  [Really I felt embarrassed for her last week when she had a launch party with no fashions to show.  Yikes!  More power to her for keepin on keepin on.]  What really got my juices up were the teasers for next week’s reunion show where NeNe tells Kim to close her legs to married men and where Lisa appears to call Kim a liar and threatens to knock her off the couch.  [That'll be a sight because I think Kim's hair alone is bigger than Lisa.]    Looks like it’s going to be on like Donkey Kong.  Count me in!
